The canvas of a workflow now has a source card on the left and output cards on the right.

The source card lists the event rules that start the workflow, holds an optional schedule (a 5-field cron expression in UTC, with the next run shown) and a Run now button. It is linked to every entry step.

An output takes the result of one step and publishes it from the platform, with the credentials of a connector, so the agent only writes the text. Add one with Add output, drag from the port of a step onto the output card, then pick its kind:

  • GitHub comment: posts the body of the step result on the pull request or issue of the run, through one of your GitHub connectors.
  • Webhook: sends a POST with the step result to an https URL. The payload carries the text under text, so a Slack or Mattermost incoming webhook takes it as is.

On a run page each output card is colored by its status and shows why it was skipped or failed. A sent output links to what it published, and a failed one offers Retry.
